We are funding our second IP-NFT!!! 🧬🪩
We are beyond excited to announce that we will be funding our second IP-NFT!!!!
We will be supporting Dr. Joshua Johnson and his team for their work in ovarian aging at the University of Colorado. They are pioneering an exciting research project focused on the Integrated Stress Response (ISR) pathway's role in ovarian aging. As the awareness of Primary Ovarian Insufficiency (POI) risks rises, this research aims to delve deeper into understanding the ISR pathway and its key component, eIF2α, in regulating ovarian health.
Dr. Johnson, renowned for his contributions to reproductive longevity, aims to bridge the gap between scientific discoveries and tangible clinical solutions, potentially revolutionizing our approach to ovarian health and aging.
On Thursday, October 19th, 2023, at 12:00 pm EST / 9 am PST / 6 pm CET, we will be having his official minting ceremony. We can’t wait to see you there!

AthenaDAO recently had the privilege of being featured in the prestigious journal, Nature, on an article concerning the community of the DAO.
So far, the DAO model seems to work best with projects that tackle a difficult problem or a traditionally underfunded area of research. Women’s health issues are historically underfunded, and AthenaDAO’s women-focused community provides a strong source of interest and dedicated funding.
